Medical Marijuana supporters ask the board to review its decision

Home / View News

On Tuesday Marijuana Anti-Prohibition Project members addressed to San Benardino County Board of Supervisors on the question of reviewing its negative attitude to giving ID cards to patients who need marijuana for medical purposes.

Out of all California counties (total 58) 40 already give marijuana ID cards to patients.

According to B. MacKenzie, the member of the project, this is where government is responsible for the well-being of its citizens.

Lanny Swerdlow, a medicinal pot supporter, expresses his expectations for the court appeal reconsideration by its initiators.

He says, there is a sad tendency to arrest medical marijuana users and thus provoking unnecessary law enforcement expenses.

The board has not yet issued an official comment with relation to this affair.
