Massachusetts fight to give marijuana green light

Having won a permission from state administration for giving marijuana users more freedom Massachusetts lawyers are going to influence federal bodies.

Massachusetts residents reacted positive to a proposition of rather fining people seized with marijuana than giving them a sentence to prison.

This time local lawyers promote a proposal provided by US Rep. B. Frank that would relieve people from responsibility for keeping up to 3,5 ounces of drug in their possession.

Keith Stroup, a representative for marijuana law organization, expressed her expectations for the proposal to take interest of federal lawyers.

However, the author of the proposition reports that it wouldn?t be approved so soon, as his colleagues have not yet agreed on the issue.
