Ferndale residents massively supported a proposition to allow a certain organization to import medical marijuana to the northern Detroit.
They voted Tuesday, and the results were nearly 8000 to 2000.
Supporters promoted the vote to come into force. According to them the proposal may help the judges issue an order for the National Organization for Positive Medicine, which will in turn provide its patients with medical pot.
The proposal was provoked by retired lawyer Swanson, who lives in South Boston for the present moment. It has nothing to do with medical pot proposition issued on Tuesday which lets desperately troubled patients use marijuana. Other cases of dug use are considered illegal according to Michigan and federal law.
In 2005 it happened that Ferndale voters reacted positively to making medical pot legal as well. |
