Olympic Champ is sought to be arrested for drugs

Peter Farkas had escaped from court before it was announced he is sentenced to five years of imprisonment for abusing drugs. Farkas became an Olympic Champion in wrestling for Hungary in 1992.

On Monday a local court in Hungary delivered an arrest warrant for Farkas. According to local newspapers he may be hiding in Thailand now.

Not only Farkas, but his brother Karoly as well received a sentence on November, 3. They'd tried to escape from the courthouse together before the court announced the judgment, but Karoly was seized, and Peter is still in retrieval.

Law enforcement bodies found a field of a whopping size and a machine for marijuana processing in the brothers' paternal home in 2004. It was claimed that the plantation found was the largest one in Budapest for that moment.

An arrest warrant will possibly be reconsidered if the Champ is not in Europe, reports the local court.
